Steak Tacos with Avocado Salsa

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb flank steak
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Corn tortillas
  • 1 avocado diced
  • 1 tomato diced
  • 1/4 red onion finely chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Fresh cilantro chopped (for garnish)

Method
 

  1. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Rub the flank steak with olive oil, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Grill the steak for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired doneness.
  4. Remove from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing thinly against the grain.
  5. In a bowl, combine avocado, tomato, red onion, lime juice, and cilantro to make the salsa.
  6. Serve the sliced steak in corn tortillas topped with avocado salsa.
